Bioactivation
Bioactivation is a special procedure, used by AKUNA to process the herbs.
Through the living environment, humans are constantly being bombarded
by a vast array of chemicals (toxins) that are foreign to their bodies.
To remain healthy, that load of toxins must be eliminated. Bioactivation
can speed up this process of elimination, as well as improve the quality
of this process.
The term "bioactivation" indicates the
enzymatic formation of reactive intermediates. The enzymes, or enzyme systems,
that facilitate this biotransformation of foreign compounds, are found
predominantly in the liver. This is why the liver is recognized as the organ
of filtration and the elimination of toxins. When all is in good working order,
these toxins is eliminated by filtration before they could be stored in the
body, or secreted into general circulation. The liver receives a constant flow
of blood from the small and large intestines. Blood is filtered through an
ultra filtration process within the liver, and the enzymes aid in striping off
all the foreign components - toxins from the body.
For maximal function of these enzymes, our products are
"bioactivated". Bioactivation is a special process of preparation of
the herbs (and their enzymes) in our products. This is known as "breaking
inactivation and denaturation" of the enzymes. Through this process,
